Speedboat Trip to the Blue Cave, Vis Island & Hvar Island

Boat Tours & Sailing Trips Date of departure: daily from April - October

Description

Blue Cave in Croatia is the first destination on a full day gliding boat tour from Split or Trogir. After about 90 minutes of speedboat ride, you will arrive on Biševo island where Blue Cave is located. A crew member will buy tickets for the Blue Cave and provide you with all the important information. This is one of the most beautiful spots on the Adriatic because of the amazing glowing blue light. You will arrive exactly when the sunlight reflects through the sea bottom and bathes the entire cave in the aquamarine light.

Your second destination is also located on the island of Biševo - Monk Seal cave. Monk Seal Cave is the longest cave on the island, 160 meters long and it was the home of the Mediterranean monk seal. You will enter the cave with a glacier and make sightseeing in the cave.

Continue your speedboat ride from Biševo island to Vis Island where you will visit Komiža, a small fisherman village located on the western side of the island. This will be a great time for a small coffee break or sightseeing.

Your fourth destination is a Stiniva beach with an unusual shape located on the island of Vis. The beach was declared the most beautiful beach for 2016 by the European Best Destinations portal. If weather conditions are suitable and safe, in agreement with the skipper you may have some short time for swimming.

The next stop is the island of Budikovac - a small island on the southeast side of the island of Vis. It is interesting to note that Budikovac is inhabited by only one person for most of the year. This person owns a restaurant on the island with an animal farm and a vegetable garden making it a perfect spot for many boat owners to come and enjoy this quiet and remote location. Enjoy your time swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear sea.

On the way to the last destination, the beautiful town of Hvar (island of Hvar), you will enjoy a panoramic view of the amazing Pakleni Islands. Hvar town is one of the most beautiful harbours in the world and rich cultural heritage as well. The easy walk around the city to discover its many charms is a delight. It's lunchtime, so you can choose one of the many great restaurants. You can always ask your guide for recommendations.

After enjoying Hvar, it's time to return to Split and Trogir.
